In the Box by Tom Groves

Photographer Tom Groves has been documenting the world of Subbuteo and everything that surrounds it for the past three years. His project covers Subbuteo’s fanatic fans and the Championship competitions that occur across Europe. He is now putting the project into a self published book “In the Box” that he is funding through this Kickstarter page. For £20 you can pre order one of the 1,000 limited edition copies.

The book will be printed at the world renowned Italian book maker EBS. EBS has produced photography books for Mark Power and Martin Parr, this includes Parr’s latest book Life’s a Beach. It’s not just the images in this book that will be awesome, the design of the book is hot too. Every detail has been thought about, right down to its fabric cover that will replicate the feel of a Subbuteo pitch.

I highly recommend you back this project as I think this book will be hot property once it’s printed. I’m proud to say I was the first person to back this project on Kickstarter, I went for the £20 option that means I receive a signed book once it’s printed.
