Are you a creative type living or working in Brighton? Then you could enter Create in Brighton. It’s a graphic design, photography and illustration competition in association with Know the Not Known and Tiger Beer.
I have been asked to judge along with Lawrence Zeegen and Sarah Arnett. The theme of the competition is “discover” and the top prize if £1000 cash. Work must be submitted by the Sunday 20nd of January 2012. For more details and how to enter check out the website or the competition Facebook page.
Even though I am a little biased I can say it’s a great competition to enter as its free, its quite common for comps to ask for an entrance fees sometimes £15+. Also the £1000 is in cash, other comps will often offer vouchers. So what are waiting for get involved.
Hi there
Can I ask a question please ? In the terms of the comp. Is there anything regarding copyright of the images or uses that would be required on winning (or other) images – for example in publicity & suchlike ?
Thanks & regards
Pete Webb
They don’t have that in the terms and conditions but I imagine they will want to use the images to promote the competition if you get though to the second stage. I would imagine that it is nothing like a writes grab. But to be sure you can email info@createinbrighton.co.uk just to be sure or you could ask on the competition’s face book page.
Great competition – – maybe if I win I can add some camera equipment to my wish list !!
Good luck if you have entered.
