Since 2000 NK Swallow of North Laine Photography Gallery has put together a Calendar comprised of images taken in and around Brighton and Hove. As far as Brighton is concerned North Laine Photography Gallery is a bit of an institution, up there with the Duke of York’s Picture House and Brighton Source Magazine. The calendar is comprised of a lot of NK Swallow’s work but although the man tries very hard, he can’t be everywhere all the time, so he also trawls Flickr and other sources for images to include. He has used my images in the past before and this year I have a tiny image on the December spread. It’s nice to be a part of it even if its just a small small part! The image on the left is by Tony Bowall and the right hand side image is by Julia Caxton. My image (middle) was taken at the Christmas day swim, you can see all the shots I have taken at the Brighton Christmas day swims in this Flickr set.
You can get a copy of the calendar online at their North Laine Photography Gallery website, you can pop into either the gallery or their stall in Churchill Square to get one. The gallery is located above Snoopers Paradise (another institution):

I have just ordered 3 copies of the Brighton 2011 calendar from North Laine Photography Gallery wesite and paid £21.65 inc postage by Paypal Trans ID 7U085859W7286860N. The reciept states the quantity as 1 and says there is no delivery address, when ordering I gave my address and stated 3 copies… so I’m abit confused now. There does not appear to be a way of contacting the Gallery by e mail so I hope you can help me.
