On Thursday 14th of March I’m giving a talk about my work at PhotoForum in London. PhotoForum is a free monthly photography talk with each of the events featuring two speakers. Speaking on the same night as myself will be photo journalist Mimi Mollica. I have spoken about my work in various places like: Book shops in San francisco, Google’s headquarters in California, galleries in Germany, Wales & Leeds, BLAB in Manchester, various Universities and of course the mighty MiniCLick! Until now I have not spoken in London, so it feels like quite a special event for me.
One of the organisers of PhotoForum is Travis Hodges who has a hand in Portrait Salon, so PhotoForum is definitely something you should keep your eye on if you are into photography and live in London.
I’m giving lectures at Bath Spa University and The University of Glamorgan this week. As I am delivering my talk twice before the London March event you can expect my talk to be quite polished and free of “er” and “ums”! If you want a taster of what my talk is like or you can’t make it to London, you can see how my talk went down at BLAB in Manchester here.
It happens at: 6pm on Thursday the 14th of March 2013
The location is: Calumet
93-103 Drummond Street
King’s Cross
London
NW1 2HJ
This sounds great. Do we need to book for the talk?
Just turn up. But if anything like MiniCLick in Brighton you best turn up early to get a decent seat.
Yes – defiantly arrive early (although I have not attended since they moved from Jacobs to Calumet).
