MiniClick Photo Illustration collaboration with Eloise Dorr
For the most part everything MiniClick does is free and all the people that work for it do so on a voluntary basis. MiniClick is a Brighton based organisation that puts on free Photography events if you want to know more you can read my brief MiniClick history.
As part of a fundraising drive MiniClick asked 14 photographers including me to donate an image and then 14 illustrators were asked to add their work to them. My photo of a jubilant swimmer was sent to Eloise Dorr. You can purchase a one off print of Eloise Dorr’s and my collaboration from Miniclick’s shop.

Miniclick plan a second print run of: I Dare the Wave, A Life to Save.
Last June MiniClick published a small print run publication of some of my work documenting Brighton Swimming Club. ‘I Dare the Wave, A Life to Save’ centred around David Sawyers: one of the clubs more eccentric characters. The first print run sold out super fast, I was on holiday when they went on sale, so I didn’t get a chance to promote the release, soon after I was back they were sold out. I know there was a few people that were disappointed that they did not get a copy in their hands.

‘I Dare the Wave, A Life to Save’ released by MiniClick
In June 2014 MiniClick published 5 photo publications including ‘I Dare the Wave, A Life to Save’ which showcases a collection of photographs by me based around one of the more eccentric members of Brighton swimming club: Dave Sawyers. Originally they just wanted to publish a set of pictures of Brighton Swimming Club. The Club is the oldest swimming club in the world with continuous membership and which I’ve been documenting since 2003. Early during their edit MiniClick realised that there was such a wealth of images that it was going to be tricky to edit it down so they decided to focus on one club member in particular.
New photo book Published by MiniClick: I Dare the Wave, A Life to Save
MiniClick has started publishing small photo books focusing on one project. For those of you that don’t know MiniClick has been organising free photography talks in Brighton and further afield since 2010. I have had the pleasure of speaking at MiniClick on several occasions. So it’s with great pride that I can tell you that my work will be published along with 4 other photographers in the first set of photo books. They will launch on June the 25th at the Old Market in Hove.

Three recently acquired photographic publications by Jim Mortram, MiniClick and Tom Groves
Below are the three Photographic publications I have purchased. I should buy more photographic books but rest assured when I do purchase a photo book / zine it’s always of the highest quality.
